Organisational Development Advice

We offer a range of advice and support to help you develop your organisation:

  • Setting up a new group
  • Registering with the Charity Commission
  • Setting up a management committee
  • Business planning
  • Organisational health-checks
  • Project planning
  • Monitoring & evaluation

Development Workers will work with your organisation by:

  • Working 1:1 with a staff member or committee member.
  • Working with the management committee.
  • Running training sessions (see the HACVS training page for details)

Eligibility

All charities, social enterprises and community groups operating in the Harrogate District are eligible for free help and advice from Harrogate CVS. There is no limit to the number of times an organisation can use the service.

In order to keep our services free it is important that we receive feedback on the advice we give. Please let us know the outcome of our help whether you have rewritten a policy, successfully registered with the charity commission or changed your legal structure we would love to hear about it.
