Children and Young People’s Mental Health Group
The Children & Young People’s Mental Health Group meets every 6-8 weeks on Tuesdays or Thursdays 10 am-12.00 and usually at Community House, Harrogate. The focus of these meetings is child and adolescent mental health in Harrogate District. The Forum plays an important role in identifying gaps in local services and in informing strategic planning processes.
The 2012 meetings of the Children and Young People's Mental Health Group are:
Thursday 2 February, 10 am – 12 noon, Harrogate Fire Station, Harrogate
Tuesday 17 April, 10 am – 12 noon, Community House, Harrogate
Tuesday 17 July, 10 am – 12 noon, Community House, Ripon
Tuesday 18 September, 10 am – 12 noon, Community House, Harrogate
Tuesday 20 November, 10 am – 12 noon, Community House, Harrogate
The Forum has also been involved in producing the guide 'Express the Mess', a directory of services meeting the emotional needs of children and young people in Harrogate District and Guide 4 Life a contacts guide for young people to use themselves. For further information see Publications.
